Any article is anchored to one, and only one, section. This is why YACS asks for a selected section when you create an article.

Categories, on another hand, are aiming to link pages intelligently. YACS manages weekly and monthly publications automatically. But you can create any number of categories and link pages accordingly.

To create a category, you can browse the tree of categories and click on the link to add a new category where necessary. An alternate method is to search for some keyword as an associate, and, from the resulting page, to click on the link to make a category out of it.

To link a page to some categories, browse the page first. Then, look at the side box for categories and click on the link Assign categories. On the next page you can add or suppress links to categories.
