Hello NickR,
I "adore" to begin the new year by saying to me that YACS will be better.To continue and contribute my small share of your thinking.
-the function "search advanced" is an important improvement,
today I am not completly satisfied of the searching that it runs but not at 100% (characters accentuated).
The stemming must be adapted for each language, i will try to find some links for french ... mysql, one of solution could be to integrate an external engine as sphider.
-New layouts, styles; indeed for each new major version of YACS!
-Ecommerce, i believe forseen.
-Overlay, for image gallery, i prepare something ...
-Ajax, a new word with existing technology ? i have difficulties to translate in reality ...
