Comment: Posting a draft comment

Commenting on my own post :

It did publish instantly. So, associate or editor approval is not required.

So, I guess I should be able to publish my own draft post when I am ready. Is this an inconsistency or something done on purpose ?

Or, again, I might have missed something. I am still new to this incredible software and it has so many features, options, ways to do things, possibilities...

One can get easily lost, but will never go unsatisfied, it seems.
