However, this is a huge work for me, and i would prefer to focus on the creation of po files for every module for next release, to enable easy translations for the entire software. Would you agree with this way of proceeding?

By the way, it is good to know that kbabel is compatible with poEdit for the translation job. As soon as you will share updated po versions, they will become part of the official Italian translation of YACS. Do not forget to mention your name in the header of every file...
