" Nick: The RSS feed is a good solution, but it only references recent articles. With the sitemap technology you have the capability to drive Google to sections, categories that you want them to analyze, even if content is quite old or not referenced in the RSS feed. Actually, the right alternative to RS would have been OPML, but Google does not support it at the moment. "
As a test I have an rss feed as a sitemap working (as well as the normal gsitemap ) and it works well
