Comment: Resizing images or avatars of members

If you are a site associate, you can display user pages, right-click on large images to download them to the local hard drive. Then use some software to resize them locally. The last step is to upload resized images to replace previous versions. From user profiles, click on the 'Edit' link. Then, at the bottom of the page, click on the 'edit' link near the image to change. On the next form select the image from local hard drive, and clear image description. Then trigger the upload.
