Jabber seems to be very powerful, most probably because it is the only IM solution based on a standard network protocol (i.e., XMPP).
For this reason we would like to expand YACS capability on Jabber rather on every others, despite the low demand for that. If you know of some PHP-based solution able to fetch presence status for Jabber users, please let me know, and we will attempt to integrate it swiftly.
