Did you use the same databases ou a new one ?
Are the messages in red on the top of the page ? If yes, then comment the line "error_reporting(E_ALL ^ (E_NOTICE | E_USER_NOTICE | E_WARNING));" on line 32 in shared/global.php .
Then try to optimze the database (to rebuild indexes).
