I notice there is no page cache any more, I think this is a wise move, as I know a big issue with the page cache is on a site which is frequently changed, is the cost of deleting the cache, changing from mysql myisam to innodb type can also help, another thing is using seperate tables to overcome locking issues.
Anyhow, have you any stress test or load measurements on a busy site of any performance differences ?
