Comment: Problem Installing 7.6

I had the same problem for a time. I did a manual install , but it did not generate a password for me and I cannot login. The homepage is once again displaying, but I will have to do another re-install to get the login and user name to take.

I had the install problem also with 6.2. It is apparently a cookie issue and may have something to do with the path to the index file, mine is not in the root. I have set the browser (FF 2.0.1) to allow cookies from the site, but it still did not take.
