William: Just have a look here, into the Design Handbook,, and you will find some convenient articles on how to derive a skin and a lot of useful counsels about design in YACS.
I confirm what Pinelli, Thierry is writing over there: the best way to obtain the skin you dream about is to derive the model of skin you have choiced into the YACS distribution. For instance, the "boxesandarrows" skin (the one you use presently ), you need first of all to could first change things in the CSS file and see what is happening. The two others files you would ever have to get evolving are template.php and skin.php, the one included into the repertory boxesandarrows of the directory skins.
It is of course true for whatever of YACS skin, like the "digital" one, ThierryP is counseling to you to derive.
Don't hesitate to ask for questions. We will be very attentive to bring our help to you. We are very concerned too about the development of YACS in Portuguese. There is a lot of things to do for you with our community if you like and I personaly think that YACS would be "otimo !" for the Brasilian people.
