I would like to translate YACS to Spanish because I think it's great.

Anyway, I'm not able to find out why it's not possible to post any writen accent or 'ñ'

Actually YACS allows written accents in posts, such as é, à or even ç -- or ñ of course.

Does your problem only appears when you translate some string within scripts? If yes, this is because scripts themselves do not support utf-8 natively. At the moment, strings put in scripts have to mention unicode equivalent to acented chars. For example, instead of putting a 'é' in a script, you have to 'é'. This is less convenient, I agree...

Another method is to translate english strings to your native language in a utf-8 text editor. You can used the set of english strings that has been published in one single file. Then post the outcome of your work in this forum. We will take care of the utf-8 to Unicode translation, and update core scripts accordingly, for a next release.
