What? No new release in June?
For some time we have been able to release about one new release of YACS per month. Well, actually, in September 2004 we had one new package per week. Starting in January 2005 we have introduced more regression tests, and delivered roughly one release per month. Therefore, after the monthly releases of January, February, March, April and May you may have been expecting a new package in June. But, nothing!
What's happening in the YACS team? Will the development be delayed or stopped?
No, it is just the opposite. We have introduced so many changes to YACS that we haven't been able to achieve all regression tests on time.
For example, up to now YACS had a flat structure of sections. In the next release you will be able to create sections within sections, and this long-awaited feature will help you to better manage the content of your web site.
In July you will have a major release of YACS available. Keep posted!
