How do forms work?

Hi, can someone shed some light on "forms".
I have upgraded to yacs 8.3 and have tried to use the news forms capability I have read about at this site.However, I am lost.............could some kind YACS person please tell me how to create simple forms for YACS.

Forms are a new feature introduced in 8.2 release. There will be a public chat on this topic on April 17th (Les formulaires : c'est parti !). They are also two articles on this site : Forms are arriving... and an older to check Simple forms. ----- Christophe Battarel |

I'm having the same problem, this is a steep learning curve for those of us new to YACS - it's nothing like any of the other CMS's out there. I can't figure out how to create a working form at all. |
