Stress testing polling system
how many polls can YACS handle?
After discovering YACS and setting it up (very, very easy by the way... thanks) I realize that it does have the capability of doing what I want for my site which is make blog entries with individually associated polls.
However for my plan, I will have 10 blog entries per day 5 days a week. Before I dive in and spend a lot of time setting up and converting the site to a design I want to use... Can you think of any reason why YACS might not be able to handle so many polls?

Well, you know, YACS polls are just ordinary pages with piggy-back data. And I know some YACS site that has more than 1,500 pages only 18 months after its setup. Would you bet with me that even a single instance of YACS could manage several thousands of polls? |
