Setup Issues

Cunningham, Tristan -- on Dec. 4 2004
The setup wizard for my installation of YACS will not create database tables before it tries to populate them...therefore, I cannot complete the installation because the tables required do not exist. Is there just a manual SQL file I can upload into phpMyAdmin? Or is there the poosibility that I might have done something wrong although I followed all the setup steps as given in the wizard?

I looked into it more and did some rather creative searching, and eventually found what I needed -- if anyone else has this problem, simply call up http://www.your-url.com/control/setup.php...this will get your database structured correctly.

I still don't know why this step was skipped in the setup though, but all works now.

Normally the setup wizard (setup.php) launches the creation of tables (control/setup.php) and then populates them (control/populate.php). I don't know why it didn't work for you...

Thanks, but as I said in my second post, I already had it solved.
