The processing of e-mail posts is now safer than before, based on several tests with different systems. '

Categories can be listed in e-mail submissions. Previous versions already supported to set: title, introduction, author, blogid, source, and author in the body of posted messages. Now you can list any number of categories as well, and YACS will create them if necessary. See categories/categories.php and agents/messages.php

To better support forwarded e-mails YACS rendering module coverage has been extended to usual messaging headers, and to quoting as well. See codes/codes.php and codes/basic.php.
Sidebars have been added to provide permanent references to published pages. See articles/view.php, categories/view.php, sections/view.php and users/view.php.
