TinyMCE is a great WYSIWYG editor

Some days ago I have activated the TinyMCE editor, which is fully WYSYWYG, on my account, with the aim to assess how this would enhance the comfort of contributing to this site.

I had a similar test some time ago with FCKEditor, but reverted to the bare textarea mode because of some conflicts with direct inclusion of HTML tags.

At the end of the day, TinyMCE is very pleasant to use. The full-screen mode, in particular, helps a lot on long or complex articles. And the editor is preserving YACS codes, meaning a smooth integration of my previous skills...

Of course, the editor has been integrated in most forms, and it is available to create articles, but also comments, to sections, to categories, and even to user profiles. Enjoy!

I agree with this. TinyMce could be a WISIWIG editor for me (i prefer Text and Yacs codes). I tried it on or two times and it looks to be very compatible.

So i keep Textarea because it is so much faster (nothing to load). But for big formated articles, TinyMce is much better than FckEditor (that i don't like since the begining).

There is a minor problem with Quotes, but otherwise, i've enjoyed it very much. I do miss the 'source' button from FCKeditor though. i have been switching between all three.
