Invitations to contribute
Page authors can now invite contributors by e-mail, as a straightforward way to support collaborative work.
Moreover, people invited this way do not have to register to the site prior changing the target page. A simple authentication mechanism has been included in links sent by e-mail to jointly recognize people and to grant them access to the target page, through a one-click operation...
The idea is to mimic the writeboard approach, and to ease viral collaboration in any community.
The concept is quite simple, but the implementation has been quite difficult, because of the shift in authentication paradigm.
