Little inconsistency

Problem has been recorded

Solution Manager: Fw_crocodile

Issue description

If i unpublish a navigation box as an associate i see it only if i take a look in the section Navigation Boxes and that let me to hide and unhide some boxes without deleting them.

Differently an extra box is always showed to an associate so if i don't like to see it all the time, even when the box is not published, i've to delete it.

What is the best way to go for you? Would you like to have extra boxes behave like navigation boxes?

Bernard: I think that it could be better to have both type of box not showed when not published. But that's only me feeling.

Well, if you are not authenticated, you won't see unpublished boxes. The aim here is to allow associates to test boxes in preparation, before making them publicly available.

If you suppress this visibility, then you have to publish boxes and to rush to the front page to test the result...

Therefore, I believe that rendering unpublished extra boxes to associates (with a little warning signal aside) helps a lot during the preparation of new elements pushed at the front page.

Actually I would like to extend this to navigation boxes as well...

If you have to push away some boxes, you could create another section and move boxes there...

You're probably right, in this way you can conserve the possiblity to construct your pages without sowing your work to conventional people.

The only thing is to have the three types of boxes with the same behaviuor.

Fw_crocodile: Yes, the inconstancy you mentioned initially has been fixed for all three kinds of boxes: gadget, extra, and navigation. Thank you very much for your useful contribution.
