Is this the mother of all weblogs?

Written by Jorn Barger, in September 1999. This is five years ago. Can you believe it?

In my humble opinion this is the oldest article on weblogs. Interestingly enough, main principles described are still valid today.

Ok, if someone has a reference to an older paper on weblogs, please correct me.
