Forum main page on one page?

kejonn -- on Dec. 11 2006
Is there any way to keep a created page from splitting into multiple pages?
I'd like to mimic the style of most existing forum softwares by having the main forum page render on one page only. Right now, it splits the board across several pages. Any way to do that (simply)?

So basically it will look like this

Board
-- Board 1

>> Forum 1-1

>> Forum 1-2
-- Board 2

>> Forum 2-1

>> Forum 2-2

>> Forum 2-3
-- Board 3

>> Forum 3-1

>> Forum 3-2
etc. but all of boards and forums will be on one main page, not spread over several pages.

I could probably spread it out with one board per page but that is also unlike most other forums and people like consistency.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Could you give some example link of what you are looking for?

Hello,
May be an idea :

make a board section by eg board;
In this section, do the 2  sub-sections:   Forum 1-1 and Forum 1-2,create a category board 1 to collapse Forum 1-1 and Forum 1-2 with :
parameter parent = board
parameter family  = board 1

To follow ...
