Cannot attach photos

Covington Randy -- on Nov. 11 2006
Whenever I ty to attach a photo to a page, I get the following message (name of image changes of course). I have verified that all the images have the image information saved with them. Can anyone help?

No image information in 'steelframe2.jpg'

Also, who would I imbed an image in a Page?

I have to say one last thing. I have researched all the CMS system in great depth on Opensource.com. Nothing comes close in terms of the intuitiveness of the structure of YACS and the depth of tools bundled.

It is true that ther is a hole in the documentation, but that will correct itself and there is a need for a few other tools such as one to add a box for Adsense and one to manage advertising banners.

Beyond that, this system rocks. Giant hat tip to the creators.

On image upload YACS uses the GD library to parse file content. The message you have means that expected headers for JPG, GIF and PNG are all absent from your file, or that GD has been fooled somewhere.

Many thanks for the positive feed-back about YACS. We are looking for enthusiastic users like you to help us create a better and more useful piece of software...

Rancov: Maybe you can open the image in adequate software, reduce its size by one pixel, and save it to another name. Then upload it and check results.

Rancov: Another site has hit exactly the same issue, and the problem was that there was no more available disk space. Therefore uploaded images were not properly saved in the temporary directory, and YACS reported bad image files... Have you checked the available space at your site?
