Download YACS 6.9a
A new release has been made available today for download by community testers.
This archive is provided for standalone installation on development or integration systems.
A number of regression tests have been successfully passed so far under PHP4/MySQL4 and PHP5/MySQL5. However, since almost every script of YACS has been modified during last development efforts, you are discouraged to use it at production servers before positive feed-back from testers.
Please do not attempt to update your server remotely, this won't work either.
The new version will be documented as soon as possible. Our main objective this month has been to improve on safety everywhere, from underlying plumbing up to end-user feature.
Thank you for your feed-back on this milestone release.

NickR: Sort of. In YACS version numbers are roughly made out of year and month. In August the 6.8alpha has been released, but we had no time for a stable release. And we worked hard in September to produce the next release, named 6.9alpha. But this time we will ensure a stable archive and a release announcement, etc. |
