YACS is *this* close!
The one feature that I would like to see on YACS is the ability to create "friends" on the board that will automatically subscribe you to see their blogs when they post new ones.
Yes, kind of like a mini-myspace.

YACS communities, on the other hand, are made of people that interact directly. For example, you and your tribe could create either an entire web site, or just a section at an existing YACS site, and put your blogs there. In the future it is pretty sure that some features that exist in MySpace will be implemented in YACS. The very first one could be the creation of a buddy list, to enable easy navigation from one profile to others. Thank you so much for your interest in YACS |
| CmputrAce from Houston, TX 2 posts | I agree - I don't see a YACS site becoming like MySpace, but while I was testing YACS as a possibility to replace Mambo/Joomla, I noticed that I really want the ability to keep a list of those that I am closest to in order to be able to see their blogs more easily. the Seeker |

CmputrAce: At least you can change your own profile and, in the description field, lists URLs of interest. When you will be connected to your site, your profile is just one click away from any place. |
