24 hours and no answer yet
How can any take this product seriously if there's no quick system for answering questions?
As if not having user documentation or a forum isn't bad enough, the query method of asking questions is apparently not reliable either.
Yesterday, I posed a question that's preventing me from publishing articles. The question isn't complicated and you would think any number of people in the YACS 'community' would provide the answer, yet it's a full 24 hours later and the question has not been answered no matter that I posted it in three different places on this site!
This is awful.

| Bernard from nearby-an-airport Associate, 7053 posts | The answer to your question is in the message sent by YACS itself: publish articles of a shorter size and that's it. From my experience, 64,000 characters is huge, and if you are reaching this limit it is probably a good indication that your page should be split in several shorter pieces. Also, at this server the forum is called dazibao. By using this chinese name, we are recognizing that they are several ways of doing things. Using Internet technologies to connect every part of of the globe does not mean that everybody on Earth will have to go the American way... By the way, I am back from a two-day trip with no Internet connection. Can you imagine that? Thank you for your interest in YACS. Hope it will help you to take the most of emerging technologies. |
