Queries ending up on the front page?

I like the way in YACS people who submit a query can keep track of it, however I find that these queries are also publicly accessible on the front page.
It's probably something about permissions or stuff like that, right?

Right. Queries are standard articles posted in the section "queries". No more, no less.

To make queries visible or not, you just have to edit the section that hold them, and to modify the Visibility radio button to one of following settings:

-  Anyone may read this section - Queries are publicly available, and the related section appears at the site map among other public sections.

-  Restricted to logged users - Queries, and the section they are in, appear only to logged members. The section is flagged with a little blue key.

-  Restricted to associates - Queries, and the section they are in, can only be read by associates. The section is flagged with a yellow/orange key, and is listed among other special sections at the site map. By the way, this is the setting used at this site, and this is why you are not seeing queries we are receiving.

On top of that, queries are still visible by their posters whatever settings you can select. To do that, secret handles are provided in URLs transmitted to query posters.
